Google ads Blocking Feature Now on Google Chrome
Google now added the filters for ads, this filter will remove the annoying ads from the website you are using. After facing the criticism of showing annoying ads on websites, Now Google ahead with the plan of adding an ad-blocking feature. This Google ad blocking feature will block the ads which do not match the company’s standard, a media report said.
Google confirmed the news that Now Google will add an ads-blocking new feature for the users of Chrome web browser. This ad blocking feature will help users to resolve the problem of facing annoying ads while browsing. Fortune reported that this ads block feature remove all the annoying ads which will not meet certain standards and sometimes all the ads will be blocked from that website.
The company said they have to work with the publishers that what kind of ads is not to be shown and no longer acceptable.
The report said Chrome will not add Google ads blocking feature which will turn on by default. It depends on ads, Ads that meet certain annoying criteria will not show on the website and the website which will cross the threshold of substandard ads, users won’t see any ads.
Now lets see the ads type which will be blocked:
- Pre-stitial ads that force readers to sit through a count down before they can see the page’s contents.
- Pop-up ads
- Videos that auto-play
Since, many leading publishers depends on some or all of these strategies to boost ad revenue and boost their businesses, Google will allow them to show users a note when their ads are blocked by third-party software. The note will give leading publishers an option of either disabling their blocker or buying an ad-free pass or subscription of some kind for that site, the report noted.
