E-challan in Greater Noida for Talking on phone while driving
Now E-challan for the traffic violators on the Noida-Greater Noida expressway. Be careful while you are travelling that expressway road, don’t use your phone there while driving. The Noida-Greater Noida expressway road at present using this E-challan for the caption of the speed. This enforcement rule will be coming soon and the process of sending challan at home with proof is good for the highway traffic management system (HTMS).
Number of cameras used for E-challan on that highway
At Noida-Greater Noida expressway, total number of cameras are 132. These cameras are installed on the median of the highway from Mahamaya flyover to pari chowk. These high resolution cameras catches the traffic violators and the people who are parking there vehicle in no parking zone or along the e-way.
The cameras are:
- 62 Fixed cameras
- 31 Movable cameras
- 24 Speed catcher cameras
- 15 E-way cameras
Anil Kumar Jha, SP (traffic) GB Nagar, said the new enforcement rule would be in place very soon. “We will launch the plan after modification in the format of challan system. The camera catches violators and generates photographs. Owing to the high resolution, the drivers can also be seen clearly if they are talking the on phone or not using seat-belts. The enforcement will surely check traffic violations on the expressway,” he said.
The Process of E-Challan:
- First the traffic violator challan is issued from the traffic enforcement office with the proof.
- The E-Challan send at the home of the violator.
- The Violator can pay the challan at enforcement office and in court also.
The officials said about this is that All the set up and cameras all are prepared for implementing this new plan of e-challan. After some changes in set up and testing this will be exicuted soon.The total number of challans sent by the HTMS are 11339 for speeding. And this year from January to April the total numbers of e-challan are 6,954.
